IN MISSION

THE GATEWAY PROJECT

The City has completed all necessary work to move the Gateway project forward.  We are now waiting for the developers, Gateway Developers, LLC, to secure enough tenant leases to begin construction.  The bank issuing construction funding for Gateway Developers will not issue construction funds until enough tenants have been secured.

Rock Creek Project 

The next phase of the Rock Creek Channel improvements are scheduled to begin in the spring of 2009 with construction on the section between Roeland Drive and Nall Avenue.  This section of the channel will remain an open channel.

Rock Creek Trail Construction - Phase I
Construction on the first phase of the Rock Creek Trail project, roughly along 61st Street from Metcalf to Lamar Avenue is complete.    This 0.6 mile initial phase provides an easy bicycle/pedestrian connection between commercial/residential and civic spaces in the City of Mission.
